Frequently asked questions

Pillura Stretch™ FAQ

How does the air-compression stretching mat actually work?

The mat has 7 inflatable air chambers running from your neck down to your lower back. When you start a program, the chambers inflate and deflate in a specific sequence — gently elongating your spine, decompressing the discs between vertebrae, and rolling the muscles around your hips and shoulders. The trick: don't fight it. Go limp. Let gravity and the chambers do the work.

What are the 8 programs?

Twist · Flow · Energize · Stretch · Unwind · Recover · Back · Lower Back. Most users start with Stretch (Program 4) or Twist (Program 1). Lower Back is the favorite for sciatica + herniated disc relief.

How long is each session?

Each program runs about 5 minutes. You can stack multiple programs back-to-back for a 15-minute reset. Most people use it once a day — first thing in the morning or before bed.

Where do I use it?

Anywhere flat. Floor, couch, bed. The mat is firm enough to work on a soft surface. We have customers who use it every morning on their living room rug.

What's the weight + height limit?

Up to 275 lbs and frames up to 6'2". Most adults under that fit comfortably with room.

Is it safe with scoliosis / sciatica / a herniated disc?

Many of our customers use the Pillura Stretch™ specifically for these conditions — Twist mode for scoliosis, Lower Back for sciatica + herniated disc. That said, if you're under active treatment for a spinal injury, please clear it with your physical therapist or chiropractor before starting.

How loud is it?

Quiet. The compressor runs at a soft white-noise level — quieter than a desk fan.

Does it fold?

Yes. Folds in half and tucks under a couch, behind a door, or in the included carry bag.

What if I don't love it?

60-night spine-reset guarantee. Sleep on it. Use it daily. If it isn't your big sigh of relief, email us — we'll send a return label and refund 100%.
